CLEANLINESS IS NEXT TO GODLINESS - HON. SIKIRU SANDA.

Hon. Sikiru Sanda, the Caretaker Chairman of Egbeda Local Governmtent Area of Oyo State popularly known as Lajuee led a combined teams of Environmental Officials and People's Democratic Party (PDP) faithfuls from Egbeda with some Law enforcement officers to inspect the usual last Saturday of the month Environmental Sanitation in Oyo State.

In his address, earlier this morning at Iwo road, he (SANDA) being a proactive person, admonished the Congregation comprising the business men and women, the transporters and the others to see the act of cleanliness as a way at which one can easily prevent and also protect his/herself from pathogenicity which is the main quality or state of originating or producing disease and inflict damage on the host.



However, he solicited for total cooperation and support with full compliance with the Environmental Officials, not only for the monthly exercise but in their day to day activities so as to compliment the efforts of the People's Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde in his bid to use the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources of Oyo State, ably manned by Rt. Hon. Olatunji Kehinde Ayoola in transforming the state from the dirty to a neat one if not neatest.

In their acknowledgement, the participants in a unanimous voice were thankful for the good leadership and gesture of the Chairman. They also promised to be supportive and cooperative each and everytime the Council Chairman want them for a certain purpose within their ambit.


They also prayed for the Chairman and categorically told him that they would love to have him as a substantial L.G Boss when the time comes. At the same time, the mammoth crowd of people at the Monatan–Academy Area, sent the Chairman Sanda to Governor Seyi Makinde to please continue to always put the interest of the people of Oyo State first without prejudice as he has been doing.

Conclusively, the Chairman promised and assured the people of more dividends of democracy been witnessed in the human face and all inclusive governance of Engr. Seyi Makinde in Oyo State in the last seven (7) months since he assumed the mantle of leadership in governing the Pacesetter State.


  • The Honourable representing the good and great people of Egbeda State Constituency, Hon. Olasunkanmi Babalola Samson fondly called Sunky was visibly around. Also amongst the entourage were the Vice Chairman of the party in Egbeda Local Government, Pastor Olamoyegun Juda, Hon. Wasiu Sanni, Hon. Ayanniyi and many other notable persons.

SUPPORT OPERATION ÀMÒTÉKÙN, ALAKA URGED.  The Oyo South East Chairman, Hon Alaka Yinusa Adeyemi have urged the Meyathi Allah cattle breeders association to cooperate with the said Operation when it started, the meeting held with the chairman and the Meyath Allah's representatives in the caretaker chairman's office on recently depicted an ambitions of Meyathi Allah to support the operation.
