IBADAN NORTH COUNCIL BOSS WARNS ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION LAW BREAKERS
The Caretaker Chairman, Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Akanbi Waheed Adeniyi has expressed his displeasure over people's disposition and nonchalant attitude to clean environment.
Hon. Akanbi, during monitoring of the monthly environmental sanitation exercise condemned in it's entirety the unserious attitude of people to the exercise.
The Chairman in the company of the Old Students Association of Bishop Phillip Academy, of which the Executive Governor of Oyo State is a member, led by it's Chairman, Mr Gbadebo Taofeek Ajibade, the Ise Ya Media Team of the governor's office and Management Team, Ibadan North Local Government led by the Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), Pastor Olumuyiwa Olaoye.
According to him, any people in an unclean environment cannot enjoy good health and sound mind which he said are bedrocks of longevity, development and prosperity.
To him the popular saying that health is wealth is true in it's sense and should be the watchword of every human being.
Hon. Akanbi hammering the heartbeats of Governor Seyi Makinde's government in the state, which is cleanliness and development, said government was ready to go extra steps in order to enforce environmental laws.
He therefore hinted that culprits would henceforth be brought to books.
