OLORUNSOGO COUNCIL BOSS CALLED FOR FERVENT PRAYERS FOR NIGERIA LOST HEROS
The Caretaker Chairman, Olorunsogo Local Government Igbeti, Hon Chief Ayantunde David Ayandeyi, in his speech delivered during this year's Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration held in front of the palace of His Royal Majesty, the Onigbeti of Igbeti, said the celebration called for sobber reflections because many gallants soldiers either lost their lives or mailed in their quest to secure the territorial sovereignty of one Nigeria, the effects of which would continue to linger on in our memories.
He therefore, called for fervent prayers that God in his infinite mercy gives the families of the dead the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He used the occasion to eulogies the Governor Oluseyi Makinde on the successful inauguration of Amotekun security squad along others south west Governors with a view to protecting the territory against Armed banditry, kidnappers and terrorising of our famers by Fulanis.
In his own address, the Legion Chairman, Col. Ajayi Adeniran (RETIRED), requested that all hands should be on deck to make life More meaningful to the Legion, other officers and men and that nothing is too much to give for the Remembrance of our dead veterans and the less privileged.
In attendance are the Chairperson, Mrs Juliana Ayandeyi, the Head of Local Government Administration, Engr Adepoju S. A, Security Chiefs, Representative of the Onigbeti of Igbeti, and PDP Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Oladele Saminu.
