ALAWODE Distributes Free Face-cover, Soap, Buckets, Hand Sanitizers to Ibadan South East Populace | Pacesetter News Media.

Today the Caretaker Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Alawode Emmanuel Oluwole with the management staff of the Local Government which include Engr Adekunle, Director of Administration and General Services - Mrs Oyewale À.M, Director of Health and Environmental Services - Mrs F.O Adeyinfa, Director of Education and Social Services - Alhaja Kudirat O. Najeemdeen, Director of Budget Planning Research and Statistics Alhaji Emiola S.A, Director of Finance Alhaji Amsat R.A, The internal Auditor of the Local Government Mr S.O Bolaji, as well other senior staff of the Council went round the major Markets in the Local Government to sensitize the people on the need and how to properly prevent the spread of COVID-19 (CORONA VIRUS) in and around the local government as well as Oyo State.




The Chairman in each of the market visited demonstrated the hand washing exercise to the teeming crowd bearing in mind and putting in consideration the distance to be maintained. After the demonstration, He also distributed Materials to be used in washing of hands in across the major markets and public places in and around the Local Government.
He informed the citizens of the Local Government that this directives was the instruction given by the executive governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Seyi Makinde to all local governments on the need to stop the spread of the virus and the sharing of the materials to the people across all local government in Oyo State.


Some of the materials distributed by the Chairman are Hand sanitisers,A Antiseptic Liquid Soaps, Specially Fabricated Buckets, Washing Bowls, Nose masks and Hand gloves.

SUPPORT OPERATION ÀMÒTÉKÙN, ALAKA URGED.  The Oyo South East Chairman, Hon Alaka Yinusa Adeyemi have urged the Meyathi Allah cattle breeders association to cooperate with the said Operation when it started, the meeting held with the chairman and the Meyath Allah's representatives in the caretaker chairman's office on recently depicted an ambitions of Meyathi Allah to support the operation. The Chairman attested that operation Amotekun was not created for the purpose of witchhunting any tribe rather for  protection and maximum security of life and property of all the inhabitants of South West geo-political zone. COVID-19: SAKI EAST COUNCIL CHAIRPERSON SENSITIZE AND DISTRIBUTES PREVENTIVE MATERIALS The Saki East Local Government Chairperson Hon. (Mrs) Adeniran Rahmat Mosunmade enjoined the people of the Local Government area to always maintain personal hygiene and comply with the directives of Oyo State task force on COVID-19 headed by the State Governor, His Excellency Seyi Makinde on precautionary measures in other to curb the Corona virus pandemic.
