Aare Alao Olalekan Congratulates Chief Benedict Akika and Wife on New Chieftaincy Tittle Conferment.




The Special Assistant to Chairman Ona-Ara Local Government on Students, Youth and Sport Aare Alao Olalekan has congratulated Chief Benedict Akika and his wife on the occasion of their new conferment as the Mayegun and Yeye Mayegun of Akoboland.


In a statement personally signed on Monday and made available to our media office in Ibadan, Aare Alao said the duo deserve the prestigious title due to their philanthropic deeds not only in Lagelu Local Government but also to some part of the Local Governments in Ibadanland.


"Benedict Akika that I know has been facilitating so many developmental projects, Youths empowerment, widows and aged empowerment even without been appointed for any position under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, Bene is a very kind and generous man" said Aare Alao.


"Chief Benedict Akika is not a gainsaying but one of the kind man that I have ever met in the universe, without holding position, he singlehandedly constructed the Olorunda-aba police station and lots more, I can boldly say that they deserves the chieftaincy title conferred on them. Once again, congratulations on the new chieftaincy title" Alao concluded.

SUPPORT OPERATION ÀMÒTÉKÙN, ALAKA URGED.  The Oyo South East Chairman, Hon Alaka Yinusa Adeyemi have urged the Meyathi Allah cattle breeders association to cooperate with the said Operation when it started, the meeting held with the chairman and the Meyath Allah's representatives in the caretaker chairman's office on recently depicted an ambitions of Meyathi Allah to support the operation.
